Rep. Mark Harris (R-NC ) knocked former President Joe Biden over the preemptive pardons he granted at the very end of his presidency, indicating that the process of granting these pardons could change in the future
“ Well, I just think you continue to see the inconsistency of former President Biden, feels good to say that, ” Harris said on Fox Business ’s Mornings with Maria Bartiromo, guest-hosted by Cheryl Casone. “ But honestly, I think we’ve got a real issue, legal scientists, some that I’ve talked to in the past two weeks really question the Validity of these preemptive clemency, and I’m on the Judiciary Committee, I have a sense we’re going to have an opportunity to hear from some of these people. ”
Biden also issued a broad pardon to his brother, Hunter Biden, for any acts he may have committed over the course of 11 times, beginning in 2014.
Harris also addressed how the country will move forward from Biden’s management and how Trump’s quick professional steps were “a strong evidence ” of how the United States is a chief of “the free world. ” The senator cited how he spoke to former United Kingdom Prime Minister Boris Johnson at the opening and how he shared the attitude that the opening was an “exciting morning for America. ”
