Doug Emhoff, it seems, does not miss those who misbehave with his family Kamala Harris. Back of Donald Trump’s opening on January 20, Emhoff refused a hand from Bruce Fischer, the father of Sen. Den Fischer (R-NE ) because he did not shake Kamala Harris‘s hand during the oath ceremony.
The awkward moment between Kamala Harris and Fischer’s father went viral as Harris said,” I’m not going to bit, don’t care”. They were standing in the ancient Senate chamber for the traditional vow and family photo with the vice president.
Den Fischer is a third-term legislator and after her vow, Kamala Harris reached up to her husband Bruce Fischer for a hand. Bruce looked down at her hand and said” thank you” refusing the handshake.
” Thanks. Thank you for your work,” Kamala Harris told the lawmaker.
” Does I give thanks to you? ” Kamala Harris said turning to her father.
As the picture of the odd time went viral, it was seen that Bruce was holding a wood in one side and the Bible for his wife’s swearing-in in the other but that does not alleviate the tension of the moment.
” Why would you try to shake my hand when you wouldn’t; t stir my sister’s side? ” Doug Emhoff told Bruce at the royal drink in the White House. The Fischers were also there because the lawmaker served as Trump’s opening co-chair.
A CNN statement confirmed that neither the lawmaker nor Kamala Harris was involved in the tiny discussion that the two men had. Bruce Fischer, apparently, made his way back over to forgive and when they were heading to the automobile to go to the Capitol where the opening event took place, points settled down between the two men and they were conversing about some things including sport.
