Samsung announced the launch of its next premier telephone, the Galaxy S25, on Jan. 22 at the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked S25 display. As is vital for any technical demonstration in 2025, conceptual AI was at the vanguard of the event.
“We are making it [AI] a real right here right now, ” said ™ Roh, Samsung’s senator and head of Mobile Experience. “To make the shift achievable, we built an AI OS from the ground up. ”
Samsung Galaxy S25 presents business as usual outside the AI
The Samsung Galaxy S25 comes in three common varieties:
- The basic concept Samsung Galaxy S25 has a 6. 2-inch screen and up to 256 GB of storage.
- The Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus has a 6. 7-inch screen and up to 512 GB of storage.
- The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra has a 6. 9-inch show and up to 1TB of storage.
All three varieties include the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy device and Google Gemini as its AI associate. The largest design, the Ultra, weighs only 218g.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 may be preordered then, with the devices hitting store bookshelves on Feb. 7. Samsung offers Gemini Advanced and 2TB of cloud store with order. The S25 retails at:
- $ 799. 99 for the basic concept.
- $ 999. 99 for the Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus.
- $ 1,299. 99 for the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra.
Samsung says the S25 offers the longest battery life of a Samsung phone however — up to 31 hours of video.
Google Gemini stretches through all elements of the S25
With the rest of the specs never varying much from the S24, Samsung wants AI — and especially its collaboration with Google — to provide a reason to improve. After introducing the S24 with Google Gemini last time, Samsung has woven AI yet more profoundly into the S25. A dedicated part box will trigger Google Gemini. This replaces most of the calls a person may have made to Samsung’s personal Bixby online associate earlier.
Gemini is modal, able to respond to words orders, answer questions about life movie, or identify music being played. It may create records and reports of names during the visit.

As expected from relational AI today, Gemini on Samsung will be able to create words, describe text, edit images, and answer questions about pictures.
AI information stays on the machine
“As AI becomes more effective, it must also be more specific to provide group leading customisation we are introducing the Personal Data Engine, ” said Roh. “Now you may enjoy tailored encounters while keeping your private information secured on your unit, not in the sky. ”
Basically, the Personal Data Engine means Artificial data from individual telephones is not used for design education or promotion, Samsung said. Some AI concerns properly be deleted after the conversation is perfect.
To protect rights and publish when AI has created an image, Samsung has adopted C2PA encryption.
One Interface 7 emerges from alpha
Underneath the hood of the S25 is the One Interface 7 OS. Roh said that Samsung is leveraging the operating structure to recreate Android “with AI at the core. ” One Interface 7, starring in public supply with the S25 collection, enables:
- Expanded creating resources, including phone transcripts.
- The “Now Bar, ” which includes proper alerts on the lock display.
- Updated camera UX.
Developers and associates will soon had admittance into the fresh UI, Roh said.
