A Wall Street Journal surveys conducted before the commencement of Donald Trump has revealed that Elon Musk‘s recognition is falling after he took over the reins of the Department of Government Performance. The poll was taken between January 9 and 14 among 750 listed citizens with a margin of error of plus or minus 2. 5 %. The media firm conducted the survey via telephone and text-to-web with responders.
” Half say it is a bad idea for Elon Musk, the Tesla CEO advising Trump on federal spending cuts and other matters, to serve as an adviser, while 39 % say it is a good idea,” the Wall Street Journal poll said.
In October before the election, but, Elon Musk’s desirability was higher.
” Republicans remain largely friendly of Trump’s cupboard nominations and managing of the political transition. But voters entire are contradictory: Some 46 per cent review of his nominations and 47 per cent praise his achievement as president-elect, with basically equal shares disparaging,” the WSJ statement said.
By a percentage of 64 per share to 31 per share, voters oppose ending heritage citizenship—the constitutional clause that people born in the US is a member, which Trump eliminated after coming to business.
Despite Elon Musk’s growing popularity, the Tesla CEO is becoming more prominent in the MAGA inward loop. From co-chief of DOGE, he has now become the only key of the office as Vivek Ramaswamy made his return from the company. On day one of the Trump administration, Elon Musk reportedly got a White House internet ID and an office area near Donald Trump.
Thus far, DOGE has been functioning out of SpaceX practices but they will have an office in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building which is in the White House challenging but not in the West Wing right. An NYT record said Elon Musk for some time asked about his level of exposure in the White House signaling a desire to be near to Trump. Musk was given a symbol for the White House complex and presently started working from that.
