For the first time in four decades, US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump were photographed boarding Air Force One on Friday. A symbol of national power that hasn’t been seen since Trump’s resignation on January 20, 2021, was attained by the Trumps as they approached Joint Base Andrews in Maryland’s stairway.
On their way to North Carolina, the leader and first lady were assessing the lingering harm that Hurricane Helene had caused the position by almost four months ago, while Melania was seen in natural coat and aviator sunglasses.
Addressing storms Helene’s affect
Trump expressed frustration with what he called delays in addressing the storm’s aftermath in a press release before leaving the White House.
” We’re going to North Carolina. It’s a terrible thing, the approach that’s been allowed to fester. And we’re going to fix it. According to Trump, the cyclone that struck about four months ago may have prevented it months in the future. ” North Carolina has received quite poor treatment,” the statement read.
California fire visit is also on the plan.
Trump traveled to California to assess the damage caused by recent fire after returning from the North Carolina vacation. The leader criticized the government’s approach to managing fires and made a reference to water resource problems, which he believes have gotten worse.
So we’re going to Los Angeles and look at a blaze that could have been extinguished if they let the water flow but they didn’t, and they still haven’t, according to Trump, who is stopping it. ” I believe we’ll have a very exciting day,” he said.
