153 prisoners were released on Saturday by Yemen’s Houthis with the assistance of the International Committee of the Red Cross ( ICRC ). The ICRC claimed the prisoners had been given normal visits by the organization in Sanaa, the country’s capital, but the names of the prisoners were not made public. They were released for humanitarian reasons, according to the Houthis ‘ Committee for Prisoners ‘ Affairs in a press conference, which included older people and the wounded.
