For all the ballyhoo in sporting about the “magic of momentum”, it’s probably more a consequence of a well-oiled, well-run team that’s now firing on all cylinders.

Like Weaver said, if today’s pitching hurts, yesterday’s speed means absolutely everything.
But sports and politics are quite different.
Activities are an experimental, closed system with rigorous rules and a scoresheet. The whole delusion is that the outcome should be decided by the players, not by accident. ( Which is why we get so upset when the refs, or shoddy field conditions, influence the final score. )
Politicians isn’t like that.
Guidelines?! Ha! We don’t want no stinkin’ guidelines. ” All’s fair in love, elections, and war — particularly like and politicians”.
Politicians is Thunderdome, girl!
And in politicians, belief, speed, storytelling, and pictures are all essential components.
In today’s row, we explored the possibility of Trump sacrificing Tulsi Gabbard, his nomination for director of national intelligence, and/or RFK Jr., his decision to move the Department of Health and Human Services. As we noted:
In the short-term, it’s better for Trump if Gabbard and RFK Jr. are confirmed, for success creates its own speed— as does battle. You virtually always want to continue on a good path.
But in the long-term, it may probably be better for Trump’s company — and worse for the Democrats ‘ product — if Gabbard and Kennedy were Borked. Sure, they would’ve served a useful function in Trump’s government, but there’s still great Marketing value in being a hero.

Social substitutes occasionally work out very well. In fact, Matt Gaetz ‘ replacement replaced him with Pam Bondi as counsel standard was a huge success for MAGA. Bondi can accomplish anything Gaetz aspired to, but the left finds her to be less of a goal due to her political bent. That means she can apply Trump’s plan with lowered resistance, opposition, and outdoor intervention.
Nevertheless, it’s not as if Matt Gaetz has left the planet. He’s also around! And how he left Congress for the AG company gave him a stronger open picture than he did before, albeit for a short while. And because of it, he continues to back the liberal cause on television and in the top-drawing podcasts.
But if RFK Jr. or Tulsi Gabbard get Borked by the republic, they’ll also be Do property. Like Gaetz, they’re never gonna immediately leave the moon’s circle. Obviously, both Bobby and Tulsi are highly motivated to continue in the public attention, that much is obvious.  ,
The only difference is, instead of helping Trump as government members, they’d been supporting Trump him as democratic victims.
And if anyone may be sacrificed, I hope it’s Tulsi Gabbard.
The Kennedy company is in severe decline. Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s remark about Bobby being criticized during the RFK Jr. republic hearing was one of the most remarkable moments. Think that: The Democrat senator , — , from Massachusetts!  , — , was attacking … a Kennedy!

Only 15 or 20 times before, that definitely wouldn’t have happened. Especially in New England, the Kennedys were invincible. They had feign death in their purest sense. ( As well as rape. )
I hope RFK Jr. is confirmed, but it wouldn’t be the end of the world if he isn’t. Whatever happens, his power is limited: he’s got more baggage than a giant jet, he struggles to speak, and each year, the number of individuals impressed with his last brand drops.
Tulsi Gabbard, on the other hand, is a celebrity on the rise.
She a really beautiful woman — and certainly, that matters. She’s even a majority with military certificates.
She’s likely more valuable to MAGA as an outside recommend than a national employee, in addition to her personal history about the Democratic Party abducting, lying around, and mistreating her. Just Tulsi Gabbard you tell the Tulsi Gabbard history, despite the fact that more than one person can successfully perform the duties of director of national intelligence.
And if she’s defeated in the republic, her story will immediately become even more powerful.  ,

The violent, individual, mean-spirited problems that the Democrats unleashed against Gabbard won’t be forgotten. If, as a MAGA hero, Tulsi Gabbard did have a free hands to advise’ em over and over again.
Either approach, her history is just beginning.
