In a media release released on Saturday, the United States Army named the second man killed in a collision between a Black Hawk helicopter and an American Airlines plane near Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport in Washington, D.C. A former White House staffer who worked under former President Joe Biden has been identified as the second man.
In Saturday’s hit launch, the U. S. Army announced that the second man killed in last year’s horrible mid-air motion near the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport had been identified as 28-year-old Captain Rebecca Lobach. Authorities have confirmed that the motion left 67 people dead and that no one else was injured.
After enlisting for the North Carolina Army National Guard in December 2018, Lobach had been an aircraft commander since July of that year, according to CBS News. Lobach’s support to the country earned her the Army Commendation Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, and the Army Service Ribbon, according to the Army.
The Army stated in the Army’s press release on Saturday that “her home and all the people who are mourning the loss of their loved ones impacted by this destructive injury” send out its sympathies. We continue to support the ongoing investigations and labor with the people of our fallen soldiers.

The Lobach family’s declaration, which was included in the press release, described the Army captain as a “warrior” who “would never bother to protect her land in fight.” On the other hand, the Lobach family described her when” as charming as she was fierce,” noting that Lobach had previously worked as a White House social secretary.
The Lobach home reported that Rachel was honored to function as a military social worker for the President and First Lady, helping to host numerous White House festivities, including those honoring the President’s and President’s medals of honor, and that Rebecca had volunteered to assist the president and first lady in presenting the Medal of Honor and Presidential Medal of Freedom ceremonies.
Lobach escorted Ralph Lauren through the White House when the famous fashion designer received the Presidential Medal of Freedom next month, according to CBS News, as part of her duties as a defense cultural secretary for the White House. On X, previously Snapchat, a video of the event was shared.
” Our dearest Rebecca’s passing has devastated us. She was a shining star throughout all of our life. She was polite, generous, beautiful, funny, optimistic and strong”, the Lobach home said. No one had more of a dream or put in more effort to accomplish her objectives.
According to CBS News, the two other men who were killed in previous Wednesday’s mid-air incident were previously identified as 39-year-old Chief Warrant Officer 2 Andrew Roof and 28-year-old Staff Sgt. Ryan AustinO’Hara.
