Ricardo González Sauceda, a president of the Mexican , Cartel del Noreste, was arrested in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, Monday after the Mexican President agreed to quickly work with Trump to secure the border.
The cartel boss, who also goes by” El Ricky” and” Mando R”, reportedly has two arrest warrants for attempted homicide and other charges. He is also linked to various instances of bribery, crime, and attacks on Mexican national causes, Laredo Morning Times information.
González Sauceda is even accused of killing two soldiers in an attack against the Latino war in Nuevo Laredo.
Mexico’s Navy and , National Guard, the Attorney General’s Office, and the Department of Security and Citizen Protection apparently assisted in the procedure.
Numerous firefights and road closures followed his imprisonment, and assault broke out in Nuevo Laredo.
Per Laredo Morning Times:
” Family, we have ( situations of risk ) in several areas of the city”, Nuevo Laredo Mayor Carmen Lilia Canturosas posted on Facebook at about 8: 49 a. m. Monday.
” Choose do not keep your properties at this time. Take steps and remain protected to prevent incidents. I am in cooperation with government. I may keep you informed”.
Additionally, the U.S. Consulate in Nuevo Laredo issued a warning about the crime.
” U.S. Consulate Nuevo Laredo has received reports of numerous shootouts occurring throughout the city of Nuevo Laredo. U.S. federal employees have been advised to “hide” in position.
Less than 48 hours after President Trump imposed tariffs on the nation, The Gateway Pundit reported on Monday that Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum consented to send 10,000 Mexican Soldiers to the frontier in exchange for a momentary pause on taxes.
Justin Trudeau, the prime minister of Canada, eventually agreed to put a$ 1.3 billion border plan in place to improve border security. He promised “new helicopters, systems and workers, improved coordination with our British companions, and increased resources to stop the flow of fentanyl”.
