After allegedly living in America for decades under a politician’s stolen identity, an illegal alien was charged with voter fraud on Monday in federal prosecutor.
According to a media release from the Department of Justice, Carlos Jose Abreu, a 45-year-old Dominican national, is accused of “impersonating a United States member” when he registers to ballot and when he casts a ballot in a federal election. Additionally, he faces an offense for possessing a rifle without permission.
” If convicted on the voter fraud and weapons charges, Abreu faces up to 15 years in federal prison”, the launch reads. ” He is also subject to repatriation”.
Abreu, of Broward County, Florida, reportedly used the stolen identity of an American to register to vote in September 2020 and to ballot in November 2022, the release said. He had “been living in the United States for about 18 times” under the presumption that the sufferer was an American citizen.
According to the transfer, the person has resided in America since he first illegally entered about 20 years ago. New Jersey issued an arrest warrant for Abreu in 2007 for charges of kidnapping, legal caution, endangering a child, and physical abuse.
