A group known as” 24er Biplobi Chhatra Janata” attacked the Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Memorial Museum in Dhaka once more on Wednesday.
Around 8 p.m., demonstrators broke into the building and vandalized the gallery. They were yelling anti-Awami League phrases.
Referencing a scheduled Facebook Live discourse by Sheikh Hasina, Hasnat Abdullah, chairman of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, posted on Instagram around 7pm:” Tonight, Bangladesh may be free from the temple of fascism”.
In her statement, Hasina said,” You can ruin a tower but you can’t remove history”. She had faith that the Liberation War’s spirit may help Bangladesh become more powerful.
