Liberals and Team Trump engaged in a significant shootout this week over the White House’s invasion of the Agency for International Development. The original purpose of USAID, which was to expand American influence globally through support to various political and non-governmental institutions, was approximately$ 40 billion in fiscal year 2023. But, USAID eventually evolved into a piggy bank for a number of international companies with goals ranging from the spread of left-wing identity and racist politicians.

Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency ( DOGE ) was given the task of taking over the organization by President Donald Trump in order to evaluate potential budget cuts. When Musk’s crew, including a variety of brilliant young people, entered the practices, they were barred from access to material by the eyes of USAID, Trump fired those officials. Secretary of State Marco Rubio was appointed USAID’s acting producer with the authority to implement the changes that were suggested by DOGE within weeks.
And all hell broke loose.
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N. Y., accused Musk of leading” an unaccountable dark state… conducting a angry invasion of the federal government”. According to Schumer, cuts to AID had undermine” countering criminal action” as well as “humanitarian work” around the world. ” If America retreats from the rest of the world”, Schumer said,” China may fill in the void”.
That may well have been real with good management. Democrats, however, decided that British interests had to take priority over orange objectives. That’s why USAID embedded “LGBTQI+ Inclusive Development Policy” in its objective for international countries– despite the obvious conflict with such radical philosophy with America’s interests worldwide. It’s why in 2013, for instance, USAID announced that it would funnels$ 11 million to extreme groups to support on gay and lesbian campaigning in Ecuador, Honduras, Guatemala and other developing countries.  ,

When Liberals are in power, they use the means of government to expand their political friends at home and abroad, embed those sources of funding into the program for occasions when they aren’t in charge, which is a broader Democrat approach to management. Democrats have spent a decade developing permanent financing mechanisms of this sort: The hundreds of billions of dollars spent each year via the Department of Education, for example, are generally directed to blue-affiliated “educational” institutions and groups.  ,
What happens when the new executive branch head isn’t willing to allow that orange funding pipeline to proceed? What happens when he examines the spending and discovers that the taxpayer’s money is being used for social purposes that are contrary to his own objectives?
Democrats are currently experiencing that reality: the vast power basic they built and maintained for their own edges is now being run by individuals they despise. And those folks are destroying a lot of the methods they built.
Because of this, panic is starting to build up because most professional action is by nature temporary and reversible, but unleashing a wrecking ball against the meticulously wrought operational state isn’t. Trump and Musk are upholding their right-wing promises to clean up the lake. They are moving quickly, and they are breaking points. And Democrats ‘ shrieking, which purports to be concerned about America’s interests abroad, is actually a sign of something much bigger: a persistent worry that their lasting, bureaucratic structures of power are under existential threat.
