A jury hearing in New Mexico on Friday was the scene of a significant battle that was captured on video. Two people have been charged with assault and battery against a peace agent as a result of the battle.
According to KRQE, the fight occurred during past Friday’s district court hearing for Alexander Ortiz, a murder suspect in Albuquerque, New Mexico. During the reading, the crime victim’s brother, Carlos Lucero, rushed toward the believe and started punching him as another person, identified by the shop as Pete Ysasi, even jumped into the fight.
Before Lucero instantly jumped over the partition, ran toward the accused, and started punching him, the film shows the murder suspect standing before a judge in the court. The film also shows Ysasi, the suspect’s papa, and two women even engaging in the battle. The respondent was seen being punched as he attempted to break up the court battle when the defendant’s peace officer was seen shielding him from the knocks of Lucero and Ysasi, according to KRQE.
The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office informed KRQE that Ortiz had been killed by him because he had “killed my daughter like a coward” and that Lucero had told authorities deputies. Lucero added,” It was worth every time”.
According to Fox News, Ortiz has been accused of murdering Alianna Farfan, his ex-girlfriend, on January 11, 2024, at an apartment complex in Albuquerque.

According to KRQE, Lucero and Ysasi are now facing assault and battery charges against peace officers.
Addressing the importance of court protection, Katina Watson, the CEO of Second Judicial District Court, told KRQE,” This is just one more occurrence that we continue to deal with, these are the types of things that we see often”.
Watson even praised the jury officer for resolving the issue on Friday and taking action immediately. She told KRQE,” I really want to thank the MDC official who was caught in the middle of this, and he made every effort to ensure the safety of everyone.”
