Sean Duffy, the transportation secretary’s assistant, announced on Thursday that he will offer incentives to former air traffic controllers to stay while the airport’s system is being renovated and new employees are trained.
According to Duffy, this offer may pay off for experienced air traffic controllers while training new hires are being trained to take over the buildings.
