Despite the arrest, some questions remain unanswered as to how Nelson knew Donohue, how the puppy was killed, where the other dog went etc. According to CBS News, Nelson was detained in 2023 after allegedly assaulting her ex-boyfriend during a fight.
” This unimaginable loss has broken our community hearts.” Joe was a great family member, a respected friend, and a trusted colleague”, Donohue’s community said in a statement.
