Trump restricts Biden’s access to classified information: ‘Cannot be trusted’

Previous presidents have traditionally received secret intelligence meetings post-presidency, but Biden made the unprecedented decision in February 2021 to revoke the opportunity for Trump, citing his “erratic behaviour.” Four years later, Trump returned the favor.

He gave the Intelligence Community ( IC ) the directive to oust the 45th President of the United States ( ME) in 2021. from accessing information on National Security, a kindness provided to previous Presidents. The Hur Report revealed that Biden suffers from’ bad memory’ and, perhaps in his ‘ perfect,’ could not be trusted with delicate information”, Trump continued.

Leaders are given access to classified data by virtue of their elected location rather than being scrutinized, which is not as commonly understood. Although they aren’t guaranteed continued access to classified protection briefings after they leave office, historical precedent has shown that every president has received them to counsel the former.

This law was broken in February 2021 when Biden removed it for Trump. He said it was related to the Jan. 6 mob, rather citing his public actions.
