By October this year, verdicts in three to four cases involving former prime minister Sheikh Hasina and some top police and administrative officials that are currently being tried at the International Crimes Tribunal ( ICT) are expected to be delivered by October this year, according to Bangladesh law adviser Asif Nazrul on Tuesday.
” We anticipate receiving decisions in three or four instances by October. It is a matter of judicial procedure, but I have this effect after talking to the research team, particularly the court’s deputy prosecutor Tajul Islam”, he said.
Chief Counsel Muhammad Yunus stated earlier on Monday that testing for all murders and disappearances would be held. The idea of a test may be one that is fundamental, not the other… There should be no inequity. This conflict took position, and this compromise happened because we stood against injustice”, he said.
