One of the reasons a lot of people finally turned their backs on the Democrats and into MAGA was how Donald Trump and J. D. Vance addressed the media on the plan road. I am one of them.  ,
About ten years ago, I began to notice the constantly shifting gap between what the internet presented as real and what I saw with my own eye. There is a 2016 up little by Dave Chappelle that captured this abyss wonderfully. Chappelle recalls the primary presidential debate with Hillary Clinton, when Trump declared,” The entire system is rigged”! and everybody on the stage who was a beneficiary of the system calmly responded,” No, it’s not”, yet Chappelle thought:” Now wait a minute, it’s what HE said”!
The mental tension we’ve endured for a long time may be overstated. When the program demands that we accept the reality that men may be women, that it is noble to defund and knee the very people who exist to defend us, or that we must set on toddler facemasks, it becomes more and more difficult to reconcile. This must be the “lived knowledge” for some Democrats also, whether they admit it or not.
I am quite familiar with like a paradox. I was taught from the moment I was a child in Communist Czechoslovakia that there were topics we would discuss at home that we would never discuss in class. From as young as school, I knew I couldn’t explain something about my friends who defected to the West. I was aware that I was unable to discuss the books my parents read or that I was able to use the word” samizdat” in conversation. I was aware that my family would sit around a little ebony transistor radio in our house on the weekends and hear to” Voice of America” despite the fact that I could not share it with anyone, not even my friends.
I was very aware of the totalitarian communist regime’s conviction that” the five-year plan is a great success again” does not imply that something is true. and that just because the propaganda machine uses phrases like as “democracy” and “free votes” to define itself, that does not think there is a politics or free elections.  ,
The learning gave me a sense of reverence for the United States and its fundamental values. Most Americans are fortunate to have been born and raised in the country of the completely, and they do not have to worry about truth as much as I do. They are not taught the value of attention when contrasting their experience with what the press are presenting as a result. They don’t automatically develop that sixth sense of,” Now wait a minute, it’s what HE said” ! ,
Even so, I didn’t anticipate the level of belittling I was experiencing in my new home. My colleagues and I both firmly believe in richness, but it just so happens that I get fired for advocating for variety of thought. I was told repeatedly that taking the Covid killed would render me defense, just like millions of individuals, because” Science”! Because my state of Washington had the longest college shutdown in the country, the people around me lost nearly two years of education.
When, as a Seattleite, I was aware that a police precinct city was destroyed and lots of shops were vandalized by Antifa, I kept reading about the “mostly quiet” Black Lives Matter demonstrations. Yet though a young black man was killed inside CHAZ and the criminal was allegedly not found, I passed by the so-called” Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone” and witnessed the army singing “black lives problem.” I watched as the Democratic Party supported people who appeared to be girls and abandoned people. I was given a lecture on “hate speech” and told that the position should be able to determine what that meant.  ,
I’m not proud to admit it, but it still took me a moment to acknowledge that the government and the media were saying things that were completely contrary to what I’ve heard. Perhaps I had a strong suspicion of any established dogma about what would happen in my precious new home. How could this be America?  ,
Then about a year ago, during a conversation with my son about the multiple self-proclaimed “nonbinary” students and “furries” at his middle school, I caught myself saying:” Son, you know you can’t repeat any of this at school” . ,
My childhood memories and the resultant injury were terrifying. My new home was in a very troubled place, in my key. How was it actually possible for me to think and experience the exact same believe and experience in America in the 1980s as I did in communist Czechoslovakia?  ,
When Vance addressed Martha Raddatz, the main global affairs correspondent for ABC News, on the campaign trail next fall, she rebuked him for making up allegations that the Venezuelan gangs had taken over apartment blocks in Colorado. She cut him off, sighed, to assert that it’s only” a handful of flat compounds”, to which Vance angrily retorted:” Martha, do you speak yourself” ? ,
It’s difficult to describe that particular incident and what I saw unfold. It was similar to hearing an angel’s singing speak to us from over and grant us authority to tell the truth. And it sent a message that the fact I know and what politicians have described me as true does be aligned.  ,
No, my capital is no safer than it was in the past. Well, the next president seemed tired and mentally impaired, and we didn’t realize who was running the country. A person who is dressed as a person is not a lady. And a government agency charged with regulating free speech is no, in fact, a safety precaution for politics or me. To visit Vance’s looks in the press “refreshing” would be a huge understatement. Every time he speaks, his sharp and clear words are evidence that a shovel can be called a spade.  ,
Trump voters, especially those who voted for him again in 2016, knew all this now. However, many of us were uneasy about his social persona. For decades, I could never imagine election for Trump. I found his love for silver designs tacky, his profession in television and dismissal of self-described scholars cautious, and, most important, I thought some of what I saw in the media was true.  ,
Even though I was aware that the corporate press had a plan and leaned left, I was unable to believe that they would just lie and manufacture. The Russia-collusion ruse, the “fine people” travesty, and the complete drafting of the Trump years put a huge conclusion to that belief. Well, even in America, citizens experienced mental tension on an unprecedented level.  ,
It gave me the exhausting experience of being back in the horrible two reality of growing up under a socialist program. Fortunately, with the new leadership, with individuals like J. D. Vance and Stephen Miller, the language of those representing us corresponds with the language we use when speaking to each other. We are familiar with the truth they discuss.  ,
J. D. Vance is a product that keeps on giving. I hope to see more bangers such as,” I don’t really care, Margaret”, which has since been turned into a bunch of fun T-shirt designs. I like them, but I’d be willing to spend a lot of money on some merchandise with the one phrase I’ll not forget to say,” Martha, do you speak yourself?” “?
