In Trump’s first few weeks in office, Musk’s efforts to reduce spend in the federal government were dominated by his White House job. The couple will stay for an interview up because Democrats have raised concerns about the scope that Trump has given Musk when it comes to reviewing the executive branch.
On Fox News ‘ Hannity on Tuesday night at 9 p.m., Trump will perform the interview, which will be his second appearance for a sit-down interview since moving back to the White House. Trump made fun of Democrats ‘ efforts to scuttle him and Musk in an extract that was shared on Fox News’ The Five on Friday.
” Actually, Elon called me, he said,’ You know they are trying to drive us apart,’ and I said absolutely”, Trump told host Sean Hannity.
” It’s just so clear. They do it so poorly. I once believed they were skilled at it. They really do it poorly because I would never be leader if they had done it well. Because I believe no one in history has ever received worse attention than I do,” Trump continued indignantly after making fun of Musk’s claim that he had taken the presidency.
The pre-recorded meeting, which was shot at the White House, did “focus on DOGE, the first 100 days of the Trump administration, and various information of the day,” according to a Fox News press release.
Trump and Musk earlier this month sat in Trump’s Oval Office to discuss their relationship, with Musk defending his position as DOGE’s head.
” The people voted for big state reform, and that’s what the people are going to get”, Musk said. ” That’s what democracy is all about”.
The president and the Tesla CEO are talking about regularly as he looks into” common sense controls” with the federal government, according to the Tesla CEO.
White House press director Karoline Leavitt refuted says that Musk had national authority or was co-presidential to Trump the following day.
