Donald Trump, the president of the United States, ordered on Tuesday that the justice ministry axe the remaining US attorney from the” Trump time,” claiming that the agency had been “politicized like never before.”
In a social media post on X, Trump said that America’s beautiful age must have a good justice system, that begins now.
The Department of Justice has been politicized like never before over the past four decades. So, I have instructed the dismissal of all remaining’ Biden Era ‘ US Attorneys. We must ‘ clean house ‘ quickly and recover confidence”, Trump said.
” We must ‘ clean house ‘ quickly and restore trust. America’s Golden Age must possess a good Justice System- that Begins Today”, he added.
This comes days after the White House terminated some US prosecutors who had been hired by former senator Joe Biden. However, many US lawyers, appointed by Biden also announced to move down after a shift in the political management.
Current and former Justice Department attorneys claim that the incoming administration typically asks for their defections and does not matter bluntly worded cancellation words.
While job Justice Department officials usually continue in their positions across various governments, lots have resigned or been fired since Trump’s opening.
Trump campaigned on a promise to end what he calls the Justice Department’s “weaponization”, claiming it was used against him during his times out of energy.
