OPINION: President Trump is delivering on his claim to reduce federal spending. Every penny helps us lower our sluggish spending limit.
President Donald Trump kicks off his state waste effort by tossing the junk food out second, much like an overweight person who is trying to lose weight.
In this situation, the Department of Education has revealed nearly$ 1 billion in wasteful spending in just a few days.
The reductions include“$ 350 million in woke spending” and“$ 600 million in grants to organizations and organizations that were using taxpayer money to train teachers and training firms on contentious ideologies.
The teacher training reductions will have advantages in the future as more future teachers are taught about teaching children how to read and less about” white opportunity” and” systemic prejudice.”
According to the Department of Education’s examples, grant applications focused on” [b ] uiling historical and political understandings of race and racism to stop racist marginalization and tyranny of students in preparing instruction partnership building discipline and assessment. of Ed.
The “woke spending” cuts included “grants to four Equity Assistance Centers worth$ 33 million, which supported gender identity, critical race theory, and divisive training in DEI, DEI, and critical race theory for state and local education agencies as well as school boards.”
The$ 1 billion is just a tiny cut, and it does not matter when the federal government spends$ 7 trillion, claim those who oppose Trump and the Department of Government Efficiency.
These people enjoy writing lengthy essays about how the federal government may be changed because of its enormous administration or how the cuts will face legal challenges.
The ragging critics are unsure of what to worry about now that someone is ultimately trying to make cuts to our swollen budget. Instead of cheering the chimp on as he ascends to the top, they are the ones who pour oils on the pole.
However, these people do not comprehend politics ( despite ostensibly being paid to write and think about politics ).
The Dept. of Ed. breaks, and others like it targeting the United States Aid to International Development, are wise because they are visible. Some of the critics may get upset that no one ever read their 700-page Medicare transformation briefings. Elon Musk will only publish on X about one bizarre study or the government’s spending on advanced Politico subscriptions, and the result will be a day-long news cycle.
The average American does not believe in large, abstract words like writers for magazines and think tank winners. Instead, they think about the ridiculousness of government investing, like$ 70, 000 on a La music festival in Ireland.
Through their use of buzzwords and anecdotes, Trump and Musk are aware of storytelling and how to advance a larger plan. Their critics fail to understand this, so they continue to be silent as the second Trump word rages through the D.C. establishment.
