I experimented with lab-grown flesh.
It tastes like… also… foods.  ,
I guess it is meat, but it’s not grown the regular way.
Similar to the meat cells found in a brewery, scientists collect them from an animal and then develop them in a bioreactor. That, the cells divide again and again until you get… flesh.  ,

If you want to consider some, you’ll soon be able to.  ,
But not in Florida or Alabama.
That, officials banned it. Other states then perhaps ban it, too.
” We appreciate that ban”, says Bill Bullard. He corridors for ranchers. In my video, he argues,” If not for Alabama and Florida ( banning ) it, then the meat packers would have the ability to pass it off to unsuspecting consumers as if it were indeed a meat product, which it is not”!
I push up. ” But they don’t conceal it! They say ( on the label ), this is’ farmed’ meat”.
” It’s not produced in the same manner”! He replies.
Thus, what?  ,
But animals activists won over narrow-minded officials.  ,
Nebraska Gov. Jim Pillen says,” Fake-meat, petri-dish-meat people, they’re not going to have a place in Nebraska”.
Why does officials have the power to make their own decisions? If I want to consider anything, it should be my choice.
For me, an unnatural chicken company sauteed some meat. After I tried some, I took the remainder inside and gave it to people. It was my scientific blind style check: lab-grown versus “farm-raised” meat from Full Foods.  ,

People liked both. A dozen preferred the lab-grown. They said it was” juicier”.
So why can’t consumers in Florida and Alabama ( and, if short-sighted politicians get their way, Nebraska, Arizona, Michigan and Tennessee ) try it?
The state’s crops commissioner in Florida wrote to me,” If additional states want their people to be used as guinea pigs for laboratory foods, they have the right to do thus. Our customers won’t be harmed until more evidence is provided that this “frankenmeat” is secure.
Why does he get to choose? Both the USDA and the FDA both endorsed artificial meat because it is healthy enough. Don’t we possess our own body? It should be my decision!
I ask lawyer Bullard,” Why reward lawmakers to ban it”?
” It will threaten the viability of our food production”, he responds. ” Government has a legitimate role in ensuring that we have a supply of vast, affordable, and safe meal,” says the statement.
Wow, another foolish discussion.
Lab-grown meat would make our food supply more , secure because there’d been more sources of foods!
According to his reasoning, cars ought to have been prohibited in order to safeguard the horse and carriage business. Computers… to guard machine makers. And so on.

Melissa Musiker of Upside Foods, which makes lab-grown meat, points out that they can “make the equivalent of thousands of animals”. With less misuse:” No claws, no ft, no feathers”.
And no creatures are killed.
” A lot of people ( have an ) issue eating animal protein”, Musiker continues,” This is a way for them to literally vote with their plate”.
Simply. We ought to be able to “vote with our dish” using our income. We should get to decide for ourselves if lab-grown meat ( or anything ) is something we want.  ,
Sometimes we didn’t enjoy it. Therefore we didn’t get it.
However, it’s bad for lawmakers to stop us from trying.  ,
