Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reacted outraged at Hamas on Thursday by returning the body of Ariel and Kfir Bibas, the two youngest victims in Gaza. When Hamas announced the deaths of the children and their mother, Hamas ‘ hopes of bringing them back were sunk.
The body of Ariel and Kfir, just 4 years old and 9 weeks old when they were abducted, captivated Israelis, family Shiri Bibas along with Oded Lifshitz, who was 83 when he was kidnapped, returned. They will now be fully identified, which may get up to 48 hours.
” We are all enraged at the monsters of Hamas”, Israeli PM stated in a game message, adding:” We will gain all our hostages, kill the murderers, eradicate Hamas and collectively- with God’s help– we did secure our potential”.
The coffins were carried onto a program during the service at a previous burial ground in Khan Yunis, southwestern Gaza. The bodies were handed over to Israeli forces by the International Committee of the Red Cross, who then transported them to Israel’s main investigative laboratory for verification.
Netanyahu made reference to spiritual texts, stating that the deaths demanded punishment for the murderers. ” Our hearts are broken, but our souls are not”, he affirmed.
Israel Katz, the minister of defense, said on X:” The spirit of the whole nation mourns today. Hamas kidnapped, Hamas murdered, Hamas may be destroyed. We may retaliate against our adversaries and safeguard our potential.
