A Delta Airlines trip turned upside down after colliding with the airport at Toronto Pearson International Airport on Monday, causing the most recent in a line of aircraft mistakes. All 80 folks, including the staff, were able to escape the upside-down airplane without a fatality. By Thursday night, all of them had been released after 21 of them had been taken to the hospital with injuries.
The terrible event is being investigated, so Delta officially announced a return of$ 30, 000 to each of the people, which sparked concern about whether the carriers want to silence the people. However, according to reports, there are no restrictions on accepting the money, and travellers may also sue the airlines for the fatal crash-landing.
On social media, there are numerous rumors that the airlines hasn’t revealed the identities of the pilots in order to protect their DEI ( diversity, equity, and inclusivity ) hiring practices. Some popular posts claimed that all pilots were female, even though the female had no connection to the accident and Delta did not disclose any details about the pilots, including their names and gender.
The sole title on X is Kendal Swanson, who makes headlines. Although it has been claimed that she piloted the aircraft, additional pilots and captains have also been made, these statements have not been independently verified.
Kendal Swanson was allegedly unexperienced enough for the landing while the tarmac was covered in snow in a popular article featuring a photo of her. She was reportedly a pilot for a little propellor aircraft before she was issued her license. Some people questioned the identity of the commander of the journey because it was the captain’s fault, if the claims were any at all, to land on an unexperienced pilot.
The PIC ( pilot in charge ) was James, the FO ( First Officer ) was Kendal, and the flight attendants were Hollie and Rebecca, according to the screenshot that was attached to the viral post. Social media users asked if James was the captain, then it was no Kendal’s wrong. Delta said the aircraft on that journey were very experienced.
