Andreas Mogensen, a Danish astronomer, and Elon Musk got into a social media row, calling him a liar after he recently claimed in a Fox interview that Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore’s spacewalking had been delayed for political reasons. President Donald Trump and Elon Musk also spoke in that meeting. When asked about the return of the Nasa explorers and the position that Musk’s SpaceX played, Musk claimed that Joe Biden’s administration had chosen to keep the astronauts in space.
Elon Musk claimed that” they were left up there for social causes,” adding that it would taking four weeks for them to be returned.
” You now have the go-ahead”, Trump said. ” Yes. Well, thanks to you”, replied Musk.
Mogensen responded by calling it a rest and saying it was “from anyone who complains about lack of honesty from the popular media.” ” He ( Biden ) was going to leave him in space. I think he was going to keep them in room”, Trump added.
Mogensen was called an imbecile by Elon Musk in response. He went on to explain his earlier “political reasons” speech and claimed he had previously offered SpaceX assistance to the Biden administration, but they turned down.
” You are entirely retarded. They might include returned several months ago thanks to SpaceX. I DIRECTLY OFFERED THIS TO THE Biden supervision, but they turned it down. For political grounds, Profit was pushed back. Idiot”, Musk wrote.
According to Mogensen, they are returning on the Dragon spacecraft, which has been on the space station since September, and Elon is never sending a rescue fleet to bring them home.
” Elon, I have long admired you and what you have accomplished, especially at SpaceX and Tesla. You are aware as well as I do that Crew-9 will be returning with Butch and Suni, as has been the case since last September. You aren’t sending up a recovery send right now to bring them home. They are making a return to the Dragon spacecraft, which has been orbiting the ISS since September, according to Mogensen.
From September 2023 to March 2024, Mogensen served as the International Space Station’s captain; this was his most new assignment there.
