US senate on Thursday confirmed Indian-origin Kash Patel, as the new Federal Bureau of Investigation ( FBI ) director.
After the verification, Patel in a social media post on X gave warning to those trying to harm America.
” Let good officers get cops—and restore confidence in the FBI”, Patel said.
” We may hunt you down in every part of this planet”, he added.
Despite her earlier announcing she did voting against the assurance, Lisa Murkowski and Susan Collins, along with all 47 Democrats, joined in voting no to Patel’s election.
Who is Kash Patel?
Petel, the 44-year-old National attorney and former federal prosecutor, is the first person of Hindu and Indian American history to conclude the FBI’s management. Patel, a local of Garden City, New York, was born to parents from Gujarat, India.
His family moved to Canada in the early 1970s after leaving Uganda as a result of racial prejudice. After his father accepted a place as a fiscal official in an aviation company, they eventually made the move to the United States.
Although he is well-known for his professional accomplishments, especially his steadfast support for former president Donald Trump, he maintains anonymity in his private affairs.
Patel’s opinions on India
Patel stands out from the majority of British press reports on the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Big American media companies, including The New York Times and CNN, presented important policy of the monument’s dedication, viewing it as a symbol of growing Hindu nationalism.

At the US Senate assurance trials, Patel arrived with his household members- parents, girl, and sweetheart Alexis Wilkins.
Before the proceedings even started, Patel touched his parents ‘ feet and showed traditional Hindu respect. He also addressed his relatives to the Senate Judiciary Committee while introducing them with” Jai Shri Krishna.”
