On Thursday, US attorney general Pam Bondi assured that the Trump administration would hardly allow “alerts” like Jeffery Epstein and P Diddy to receive passes, and that a list of those involved in the investigation would quickly be made public.
When asked about where the Trump presidency is at with the Jeffrey Epstein record, Bondi responded,” I was briefed on that yesterday. I didn’t talk about that officially, but, you know, President Trump has given a really powerful law, and that’s going to be followed”.
” Donald Trump doesn’t make empty promises. I think promises made, promises kept, and that’s why we’re all that to carry out his policy about making America protected and prosperous”, she added.
In the weeks leading up to the national election, Bondi demanded that names be made public in the case data of the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, and that those who wanted to keep their names secret had” no legitimate base” to do so.
Epstein, an American businessman linked to numerous high-profile people, died by suicide in prison in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking fees. The amount of these people ‘ involvement in the case is still undetermined.
Bondi criticized the delay in releasing related documents, and he also emphasized the context of US human trafficking.
” These files were released so slowly. People prostitution is a multi-billion-dollar business in this country. Additionally, Jeffrey Epstein is deceased. And Ghislaine Maxwell is in jail for 20 years where she belongs”, she said.
She argued that the people named in the record have no legal protection for their names unless they are children, patients, or cooperating accused in a possible case against Ghislaine Maxwell, a convicted sex smuggler.
” Citizens in that document are still fighting to keep their names secret, Sean. They are unable to file a lawsuit against Ghislaine Maxwell unless they are a child, a survivor, or a cooperating accused by chance in a case against her. And I think Mark Geragos, a wonderful criminal defense attorney, did back that up as well”, she added.
Epstein was second arrested in Florida in 2005, accused of paying a 14-year-old girl for sex. Eventually, numerous other young ladies alleged related abuse. But, in 2008, he pleaded guilty to a lesser cost involving one survivor and served 13 months in jail under a work-release system.
Despite his judgment, Epstein continued to interact with wealthy and influential figures, generally through benevolent efforts, for another century. Following a Miami Herald analysis, national lawyers in New York charged Epstein with sex trafficking in 2019.
Following Epstein’s dying, his former partner, Ghislaine Maxwell, was prosecuted for her part in recruiting young patients. She was convicted in 2021 and sentenced to 20 years in prison.
