At the Conservative Political Action Conference ( CPAC ), US President Donald Trump met Polish President Andrzej Duda and reiterated their close ties.
Trump even praised Duda for Poland’s devotion to boosting their defence spending.
In a blog on X, the White House stated that” President Trump met with Polish President Andrzej Duda and reaffirmed our near empire.” President Trump praised Andrzej Duda for his commitment to improve Poland’s defense spending, as well.
Duda told Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy before on Friday that there was no other way to bring lasting peace to Ukraine without the US, and that he should work with them.
” President Volodymyr Zelensky called me a few minutes earlier. Following new meetings with General Kellogg and other improvements, we had a candid discussion. The post stated that” we constantly believe there is no other way to stop the killing in Ukraine and achieve lasting peace without the support of the United States,” the message read.
Duda added that he thought Trump had a strong sense of responsibility for maintaining world peace and security.
” For this reason, I urged President Zelenskyy to continue to support Donald Trump’s effort to work in a relaxed and productive manner. The US dialogue strategy’s foundation is based on kindness and honesty, in my opinion. I have no doubt that President Trump is deeply committed to maintaining international order and security,” the statement continued.
Trump previously on Saturday called for an end to the continuous Russia-Ukraine conflict and pleaded with Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelenskyy to “get up to stop the war and prevent killing millions of people.”
President Putin and President Zelenskyy must collaborate because we want to end the war and prevent killing millions of people, according to Trump. I want to see a peace, and I want to get the bargain done. It doesn’t change the US very much since it is on the other side of the sea, it does change Europe”.
