Delta Connection Flight 4819, which crashed while attering at Toronto Pearson International Airport on Monday evening, is set to receive$ 30, 000 in compensation from Delta Air Lines.
The Atlanta-based airport confirmed the quantity Wednesday evening. The Delta Care Team is telling users that the money has” no strings attached, and does not affect right,” according to Spokesperson Morgan Durrant in an email.

On Monday, Flight 4819 took off from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport ( MSP) around 11: 34 a. m. with the maximum 76 passengers and four crew members aboard. Endeavor Air, a Minneapolis-based company of Atlanta-based Delta that flies local roads, operated the plane.

According to the airport, maintenance teams were in place to take the aircraft off the runway once it had received the necessary safety certification.
Canadian authorities with the Transportation Safety Board ( TSB ) are investigating the crash, with assistance from U. S. stakeholders and investigators. Giving support are the National Transportation Safety Board, the Federal Aviation Administration, Delta and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, which owns the Challenger flight plan.
TSB Senior Investigator Ken Webster,  , speaking from beside the shattered aircraft later Tuesday  , day, said a group of more than 20 was conducting discussions and examining the aircraft. The recovered devices were sent off for laboratory research with the trip data and cockpit recordings.

Most Minneapolis-St. Paul people know Delta. However, customers frequently fly on Endeavor, which has its own distinct license to fly but bears the Delta image and uniforms when purchasing tickets for shorter outings.
