Dan Bongino, who was recently appointed by US President Donald Trump as FBI assistant director, has long been a vocal critic of Barack Obama, tying the lines between various high-profile political crises and the former President’s position in charge at the time.
In a picture that resurfaced following his visit, Bongino stated,” Spygate, Obama was in command. Collusion fake, Obama’s in command. The Hillary contact incident, Obama’s in demand. The corruption scandal, Obama’s in command. There’s a common string. This isn’t a crime idea. What did I only say that’s not technically correct”?
Bongino also cited allegations that former US president Joe Biden had accepted a$ 5 million reward as vice president in connection with Obama. He insisted,” Now, as this Biden scandal explodes with this allegation that he took a$ 5 million bribe as vice president, Obama’s vice president, keep that in mind”, before highlighting financial records that allegedly show payments flowing into what he called the” Biden Inc. crime network”.
Former Secret Service agent and liberal commentator Bongino was appointed FBI assistant director on Sunday by Trump, who praised him as” a person of extraordinary love and passion for our State.” He will work for Kash Patel, a new FBI director who was just sworn in as one of Trump’s allies.
Both gentlemen lack FBI experience, according to detractors of the selection, and they have raised questions about their ability to lead the nation’s leading law enforcement agency.
Their visits come as the FBI is up in domestic turmoil as a result of the FBI’s required departure of senior officials and attention over investigations involving the Capitol riot on January 6, 2021. Patel has now made it known that the FBI will reorganize, including moving its workforce and returning to its standard crime-fighting responsibilities.
Bongino’s past with Obama
Bongino’s censure of Obama is hardly new. He previously worked for Obama’s presidential team as a Secret Service agent before eventually acting against his former employer. In 2013, he claimed he resigned from the Secret Service due to the “fog of crises in the Obama management”.
He further suggested that “people may become shocked, scared if they knew all” about what went on behind closed doors, as reported by ABC News.
During his time as a traditional critic, Bongino has generally accused Obama of fraud and wrongdoing. His position has made him a key figure in the political movements of Donald Trump, mainly in bringing up claims of election scams and government overreach.
The FBI is anticipated to take a significantly different way then that Bongino and Patel are now in the upper classes. Bongino has long supported Trump’s promises of political discrimination within federal law enforcement, while Patel has pledged to investigate alleged corruption within the organization.
Democrats express concern that the appointments may serve as a resource for Trump’s political agenda, but Bongino and Patel’s supporters assert that they are working to “restore righteousness” and end what they perceive as deep-state effect.
