A new notice from the House Judiciary Committee reveals that an IRS company under the Biden presidency gave 405, 427 citizens income data to media outlets, including that of President Donald Trump. Americans are supposed to be concerned about DOGE, right?
Democrats have been crying wolf for weeks over Elon Musk and DOGE’s claims that they are plotting a “hostile invasion of the Treasury Department” and that they are putting vulnerable tax information in danger. Democrats feigned contempt for DOGE because it would have “access to the administration and distribution of trillions of dollars and the highly sensitive information of millions of Americans.” They also held a press conference to criticize DOGE for granting the Treasury Department’s transaction system read-only access.
Unsurprisingly, the left-wing media has echoed these phony problems.
” Elon Musk’s DOGE appearance at the IRS raises worries about tax information stability, payment delays”, CBS News ‘ Aimee Picchi wrote.
According to Jacob Bogage and Jeff Stein of The Washington Post,” Musk’s DOGE seeks exposure to personal tax info, raising concern at IRS.”
Despite all the” issue” and “alarm” screaming, it seems that Americans are more interested in the Treasury Department people than a billionaire who genuinely doesn’t need or want tax information.
In a text that Douglas W.O’Donnell, an acting director for the Department of the Treasury, sent to House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan on February 14, Charles Littlejohn “inappropriately accessed or leaked” the details of 405, 427 citizens, 89 percent of whom are “business companies.”
Littlejohn had previously been accused in 2023 of reportedly disclosing tax transfer data to two news businesses that were not specifically cited. This tax information was leaked to ProPublica, which used the data” to review its ‘ Key IRS Files ‘ series”, according to ProPublica.
ProPublica reported tens of reports based on an analysis of the great database, which included details on thousands of rich Americans, according to ProPublica. ProPublica’s Editor-in-Chief Stephen Engelberg denied knowing the personality of the cause when charges were made people.
According to ProPublica, a second hole from Littlejohn that contained information about a “high-ranking government standard” “appears to correspond with The New York Times ‘ reporting on Donald Trump’s taxes.”
But Musk and DOGE are the true problems?
