A native of Castle Camps, Cambridgeshire, expressed frustration with the deteriorating street conditions and took matters into his own hands.
James Coxall used arbitrary legs to make a creative use of a large hole to highlight it, according to BBC reports. In Castle Camps, a village in Cambridgeshire, he placed false legs to create the impression that someone is deep diving into a pothole that is crowded with water.
Coxall claimed that the road’s destruction had lasted eight months. Despite small traffic, drivers faced a tough choice when encountering approaching vehicles: either quit or pull through the sinkhole.
The highways section, according to the local authority, had assess the situation and make the necessary repairs.
Coxall, 41, who works as a craftsman, explained that his home decided to address the long-standing issue with laughter.
” The boots were going to donation anyway, so we thought we’d give them an outfit primary”, said Mr Coxall.
The household used discarded clothes and pieces of wood to create the show. They filled trousers with outdated fabric, used wooden for balance, and secured the assembly with a masonry in the water-filled opening, positioning the feet above the floor.
After sharing photos on local social media teams, including strange things around Cambridge, Coxall received many good responses.
” It’s just a bit of excitement, and I’ve had plenty of information about it”, he said, adding that locals appreciate his humorous strategy, noting his reputation as someone who enjoys useful gags.
