The woman behind ‘DataRepublican’
Pounds, a Deaf and nonverbal tech expert, revealed that she recently left her job to focus solely on government efficiency initiatives related to the newly established Department of Government Efficiency ( DOGE ), which was headed by Elon Musk and was launched last month under Donald Trump‘s leadership.
She claims her voyage began as a plain data-driven analysis of government spending, but what she uncovered led her to a startling conclusion: an extraordinary amount of tax money was being funneled away through problems, fraud, and useless deals.
The discovery, she says, changed the course of her life.
” I gave up everything for this—my health, my career—because I believe in what I am doing”, she wrote.
Violent says about the squander of taxpayer funds
The Department of Government Efficiency ( DOGE ) has already claimed to have saved$ 65 billion since its launch in late January. The company aims to cut national spend by$ 1 trillion, using techniques such as fraud detection, deal delays, property sales, and governmental changes.
But, Pounds insists that the actual number may be far worse than reported. In a recent interview with NewsNation’s Brian Entin, she estimated that the actual amount of wasted or stolen money could exceed$ 100 billion annually.
” If I had to guess, I would say it is over$ 100 billion. What’s more crucial is what they’re doing with that money, she warned.
Musk’s help and the secret of their relationship
