
Whoopi Goldberg, a co-host of The View, said during a conversation about President Donald Trump‘s proposed silver card immigration that immigrants are needed because they don’t contribute to having the ability to “do stuff.”
” I listen to people say,’ Oh, also, you know, we don’t like people from other countries coming and teaching individuals how to do things,'” she continued. ” Why aren’t Americans doing it? Because Americans don’t know products. We require people to come in to assist us in figuring out how to accomplish things.
The other co-hosts on the program also delved into Trump’s proposal to introduce a new$ 5 million visa to entice wealthy foreigners to America.
Co-host Sara Haines claimed that Trump had “turned on immigration” and that the gold card proposal did possibly offend legal immigrants because the rich can “skip the line.”
” If you have enough income, you can travel. I don’t believe that may bode well]with those ] that voted for him that you may just skip the line if you’re rich. She continued by suggesting that wealthy jihadists might use the gold card to enter the country.
