The Department of Education announced Thursday a new” End DEI” portal for parents, students, and teachers to report diversity, equity, and inclusion ( DEI ) discrimination to the federal government.
EndDEI website users are asked to name their college or university district, its zip code, and offer up to 450 words to “describe in as much detail feasible” any possible discrimination going on.
” The U. S. Department of Education is committed to ensuring all students have access to valuable learning free of controversial beliefs and indoctrination”, the portal website says. ” This submission form is an outlet for students, parents, teachers, and the broader community to report illegal discriminatory practices at institutions of learning”.
The” group submissions” will then be used as possible foundations to launch civil rights investigations into the college or school district.
EndDEI may turn the large families ‘ right, anti-DEI, and anti-indoctrination motions of the past several years into a national journalist plan to weed out unfair practices in public education. It also says the Education Department” will maintain the confidentiality of these submissions to the fullest extent permitted by law”.
The portal comes after the Education Department has been quick to launch investigations into potentially discriminatory school districts, some of which violate Title IX civil rights protections based on gender, and others that violate civil rights based on race.
As The Federalist reported, the Trump administration plans on going after any school district that refuses to comply with its executive orders and guidance on routing out DEI, or face losing federal funding.
” For years, parents have been begging schools to focus on teaching their kids practical skills like reading, writing, and math, instead of pushing critical theory, rogue sex education and divisive ideologies— but their concerns have been brushed off, mocked, or shut down entirely”, Tiffany Justice, co-founder of Moms for Liberty, said in the department’s press release.  ,” Parents, now is the time that you share the receipts of the betrayal that has happened in our public schools. This webpage demonstrates that President Trump’s Department of Education is putting power back in the hands of parents”.
In recent weeks, the Education Department has also launched Title IX investigations into the entire state of Maine, as well as five Virginia school districts for a variety of gender theory-based policies like allowing boys to play in girls sports, or allowing them in girls ‘ private facilities, so long as they “identify” as a different gender.
