British Prime Minister Keir Starmer stated on Sunday that while he does not believe the US is a trustworthy ally, Europe may continue to support Ukraine in order to secure harmony.
Nobody wanted the collapse in conversations that took place Friday at the White House, according to Starmer, who was wrapping up a surveillance summit in London with other European and world leaders. However, the US continues to be a significant ally.
According to Starmer,” the US has been a trustworthy ally to the English for some, many years and still is.” No two nations are as tightly aligned as our two, they say.
Starmer claimed that the US will support his peace-building project in Ukraine. He said the UK will use 1.6 billion pounds ( USD 2 billion ) of export financing to supply 5, 000 air defense weapons to Ukraine.
And he cautioned that Europe must carry out the necessary defenses.
Two weeks after President Donald Trump criticized Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and said he wasn’t thankful enough for US assistance, the meeting took place.
