Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelenskyy, president of Ukraine, made a plan of action that he claimed would put an end to the battle while attempting to reassure the Trump administration that his presidency was committed to peace.
On Friday, Zelenskyy wrote on the social media platform X,” Our gathering in Washington, at the White House, did not go as planned.” It’s unfortunate that this incident occurred. The time has come to correct items.
He was referring to a tense White House meeting next year where President Donald Trump berated and criticized Zelenskyy. Trump made a statement on Monday that he would stop all US military aid to Ukraine.
The Ukrainian head said he was willing to quickly consider a ceasefire at sea, put down long-range drone and missile attacks on Russian targets, and transfer all of its prisoners of war.
Simply “if Russia will do the same,” he added,” but only if it does.”

Zelenskyy’s proposal appeared to be clearly intended to move Russia’s burden of ending the war, which it had invaded three years ago. The president of Ukraine is the main obstacle to peace, according to the White House.
Zelenskyy praised US assistance in his article, citing in particular” the moment when things changed when President Trump provided Ukraine with Javelins.”
He wrote,” We are appreciative of this.” Ukraine is prepared to enter the fray as soon as possible to provide profound peace, he continued. ” My team and I are prepared to work under President Trump’s strong leadership to achieve lasting serenity,” my team said.
The Kremlin did not immediately respond to Zelenskyy’s suggestion.
Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, has made no apparent indication that he is ready to de-escalate the conflict before negotiating significant terms with the West and Ukraine, including limiting the size of the Ukrainian military, limiting the NATO’s footprints in Europe, and limiting Russia’s influence over Ukraine’s local elections.
