Ontario took a step up after US President Donald Trump escalated the price war Tuesday walking steel and aluminum taxes by 50 per cent. After stating to US media that he won’t back down, Ontario leading Doug Ford said he agreed to suspend the 25 per cent tax on energy imports into three US states– New York, Michigan and Minnesota– after his talk with US business secretary Howard Lutnick.
