A top Awami League president on Wednesday claimed that Sheikh Hasina does quickly return to Bangladesh as its prime minister. Rabbi Alam, who is a nearby secretary to Hasina, also thanked India for providing a safe place for the ousted PM.
” Sheikh Hasina is coming up as the primary minister. The younger technology has made a mistake, but that’s not their problem, they have been manipulated …”, he said speaking to ANI.
Dubbing the scholar revolt that toppled the Hasina plan last year as a “terrorist uprising”, Alam said:” Bangladesh is under attack and it needs to be addressed by the global community. A social rebellion is good, but that is not what has been going on in Bangladesh. This is a criminal rebellion..”.
” Many of our officials are sheltered here in India, and we are very thankful to the American authorities for providing the position. I even thank PM Narendra Modi for providing a secure travel section for our Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. We are proud to the people of India …”, he added.
Hasina fled Bangladesh last year and took shelter in India after the nation witnessed violent conflicts against the government over legal services hiring guidelines.
After Hasina’s resignation, Mohammed Yunus became the chief of the time authorities, who has requested India for Hasina’s abduction. He had just claimed that India had made” no official answer” in returning to the abduction calls. The ousted PM is likewise awaiting investigations into crimes against humanity, he had said.
Calling upon Yunus to step down, Alam said,” We want to question the Bangladesh assistant to move over and go back to where he came from… Sheikh Hasina is coming back as the prime minister. The younger generation has made a miscalculation but that’s not their problem, they have been manipulated..”.
Hasina has been accused of using safety forces and police to seduce, torture, and remove hundreds of protesters. Nevertheless, she refutes these says, insisting that she is being targeted for political oppression.
