The artist from Canada who appeared in the American Pie series, Jasmine Mooney, claimed that when she attempted to obtain a new card, the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement had her chained up at the borders. The artist was reportedly being held in inhumane problems at a detention facility where she had to rest on a bed without a cover and bed. The event occurs as the US-Canada relationship suffers a setback from the price war and the Donald Trump administration has begun a large border border assault.
Mooney claimed she entered the country through Mexico after being asked by border officials to go to a US Consulate to request legitimate position so she could work there once more. She was detained after being denied re-entry to Mexico, according to reports. Before being detained by ICE and placed in San Diego’s Otay Mesa Detention Center, she spent three days in a warm room.
She said,” I was put in a body, and I spent two and a half time sleeping on a bed with no cover, no bed, and an aluminium foil blanket covering my brain like a dead body.”
Mooney claimed that she and a group of 30 different women were then taken into custody in Arizona in the middle of the night.
How did Jasmine Mooney arrive at the frontier?
The 35-year-old artist was employed by the heath stimulant drink business she co-founded in Los Angeles. When she visited her Vancouver house, her card was revoked. When the actress attempted to table a journey, she learned that she had lost her legal status in the US.
She then made the trip to the US-Mexico border crossing in San Diego County, hoping to receive a new card it. She was detained there and was being held there until ICE officials arrived. Every watch is wondering about her whereabouts as a French, and she admitted to breaking news outlets that she is currently imprisoned in the Arizona detention facility.
The government of Canada said it is aware of Mooney’s arrest and is pursuing further inquiries from Arizona’s leaders. According to Global Affairs Canada spokesperson Brittany Fletcher, “every nation or country decides who may enter or exit through its edges.”
