Donald Trump addressed his grievances to the Court in a surprisingly unique talk at the Justice Department, covering everything from Hunter Biden‘s laptop’s prosecution to his own.
Trump addressed a crowd of supporters at the DOJ offices in downtown Washington, D.C. on Friday, saying,” We’re turning the page on four long years of bribery, weaponization, and retreat to violent criminals. According to the constitution,” we’re restoring good, equal, and independent justice.”
Trump claimed in his hour-long speech that the election of last year gave him the authority to release a “far-reaching analysis into the corruption of our system” to “expose their heinous crimes and serious misconduct.”
Trump also cited, among others, his administration’s decision to terminate security clearances for previous administration officials, including former special lawyers Jack Smith, who had personally prosecuted him, and former intelligence officers who had disputed the legitimacy of the younger Biden’s computer during the 2020 campaign. According to those officers, the computer was the result of Russian propaganda.
Trump also mentioned the 2016 plan, in which Comey, an ex-director of the FBI, was fired after Comey demanded that the commission remain separate from the White House.
Trump said,” I will tell you that James Comey’s firing is a great pride. ” A wonderful, wonderful respect. No time could have gone much. Many people said it’s unfortunate that you did that, and you know what, a year later, they claimed that it really saved the presidency.
Trump praised former national security adviser Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn as a “patriot” and White House deputy chief of staff for legislation Stephen Miller as an “unsung protagonist” and Judge Aileen Cannon for reversing Smith’s lawsuit involving the classified records case brought against him. He added that criticism of her should be against her and called the situation “bulls ***.” Flynn was fired from his position during Trump’s initial leadership because he made up allegations about his relations with Sergey Kislyak, the former Russian ambassador to the United States.  ,
Trump also attacked previous president Joe Biden for allegedly using an auto-pen to hint political documents, as well as the media for being “political hands of the Democrat Party” in the speech.
Trump criticized Biden, saying,” Sometimes it is not even valid. Who is influencing him to mark? He had no notion what the heck he was doing. All these terrible things doesn’t happen if he did.
Attorney General Pam Bondi showed Trump his annual painting, which is currently on display at the Justice Department, as he prepared to deliver his statement.
Trump responded,” That’s a tough picture.
Bondi referenced 180 kilograms of arbitrary fentanyl on stage to show the product’s deadlines and Trump’s plan to stop its distribution in the United States.
” We are so proud to work for Donald Trump’s direction,” Bondi said.
Trump’s inauguration of the Justice Department, which resulted in two national indictments against him after his first management, is a perfect example of how the president handled the department. In accordance with the law that a sitting president may be tried for, both of these trials have been dropped.
Given that most presidents attempt to keep the department from running freely from politics, his appearance was strange. In 2014, former US President Barack Obama made a statement outlining new guidelines for intelligence meeting.
Trump has attempted to reform the department since taking office, including devoting prosecutors who prosecuted him and assisting those accused of acts relating to January 6. The president referred to as “hostages” and “political captives” those who have been convicted or charged with a crime.

Karoline Leavitt, a spokesman for Trump, pointed to the occasion to highlight his commitment to “restoring law and order to our land” during the White House press conference.
Leavitt told reporters outside the West Wing on Friday,” Unfortunately, we saw a Department of Justice that was weaponized against Americans for their political ideas in the last four decades under the Biden management.” It was not centered on bringing down law and order and protecting public security, as it was stated.
