If all goes as planned, according to Musk, humans could be on Mars by 2029, despite Musk’s suggestion that 2031 would be a more reasonable target.
Musk’s announcement was quickly addressed by Optimus ‘ X account, which read,” Hold on.”
On its website, SpaceX states that” Starship is the most powerful launch vehicle in the world, ever created, and it can carry up to 150 metric tonnes that are completely recyclable and 250 metric tonnes that are expendable.” That’s 165 tons of completely reusable and 275 tons of disposable in US dollars.
Musk has much talked about his desire to send people to Mars, and he just was spotted in the White House while sporting an” Occupy Mars” clothing.
On SpaceX’s website, Musk quotes,” I didn’t think of anything more exciting than going out there and being among the celebrities,” in line with its vision of “making mankind multiplanetary.”
Musk’s statement to launch a mission to Mars comes at the height of SpaceX’s interesting week.
Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams, who have been stranded in space for nine months, will join a crew headed for the International Space Station ( ISS) on Friday.
Wilmore and Williams, two test pilots, set sail for storage on the Boeing Starliner on June 5, 2024, with the intention of making a return to Earth on June 13. But, jet failures and leaks caused NASA and Boeing to rely on them to keep the pilots on the ISS rather than face a risky return journey. Joe Biden reportedly declined to give Elon Musk and others a hand in giving them great attention, but they reportedly made an offer to bring them home last year.

When a Washington Post reporter asked,” Elon Musk has said that he made the offer to bring you guys up earlier and that it was denied… Is that true?,” one of the stranded astronauts  confirmed Musk’s account during a game press conference past week.
Barry Wilmore responded,” I can just say that what Elon Musk says is completely true.” ” I don’t understand all those particulars, and I don’t believe any of us can actually provide you with the response you might have hoped for,” said the statement.

Wilmore and Williams are scheduled to depart as early as 4 a. m. EDT on Wednesday with Hague and Gorbunov once the Crew-10 astronauts arrive at the ISS ( expected Saturday night around 11: 30 p.m. EDT ).  ,
