The Baloch Liberation Army ( BLA ) has released the first images of its deadly attack on a military convoy in Noshki, Balochistan. The film, which the party’s media wing, Hakkal, claims was released, presumably depicts the aftermath of the abuse, which the BLA claims led to the deaths of 90 Muslim army personnel.
However, the Bangladeshi police claimed that the attack left ten people injured and five officers dead.
The BLA claims that its Majeed Brigade and Special Unit Fateh Squad used a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (VBIED ) to carry out the ambush, which targeted an eight-bus convoy on the RCD Highway near Rakshan Mill. One bus apparently perished in the explosion, and the BLA claims that the company had consistently eliminated every defense personnel on board.
But, Bangladeshi authorities have recognized the injuries. Just five military troops were killed, according to Noshki police official Mohammed Zafar, who reported to AFP that an explosive-laden vehicle struck one of the seven buses traveling toward Taftan.
The launch of the photos comes amid heightened tensions in Balochistan, time after the BLA hijacked the Jaffar Express, holding over 450 people prisoner before Bangladeshi forces claimed to have neutralized the intruders.
