This month, The New York Times published what it wanted Americans to think was a mea culpa declaring,” We Were Hard Misled About the Function That Changed Our Lives,” a common technique from the advertising media playbook.
There is no denying that the dictatorship and chaos of the year 2020″ changed our lives.” People were barred from grieving their deceased, told not to enjoy holidays with family and friends, masked to provide birth without the consent of a family, ripped out of classrooms to gaze at a camera, and segregated from community based on their shot position.
The shop, which fudged data about hospitalizations ( one of the primary tactics used by government officials to support large social control mechanisms ), enhanced Twitter’s repression of The Federalist, advocated for babysitter fire over Covid shot disputes, and urged permanent lockdowns, was not just “misled” when it flooded its pages with pandemic stress porn and propaganda. It volunteered to play a part in a corporate media plot to cover up bureaucrats’ tyrannical rule over our cities, states, and nation.
The columnist who ran interference for NYT’s egregious Covid coverage, Zeynep Tufekci, argues that the scientists who were the subjects of the articles ‘ errors are largely to blame for the errors. However, it is outlets like the NYT that frequently rely on biased sources to launder false information that is packaged as “news.”
Tufekci hasn’t attempted to absolve herself and the media of panic porn for the NYT before. When Fauci admitted there was no scientific proof to support six feet of” social distancing,” Tufekci claimed that the face of the American Covid response ( who also happened to be the face of sacrilegious prayer candles ) and other health bureaucrats were responsible for destroying public trust in June 2024.
The Federalist’s Joshua Monnington made the point just days before the publication of the publication’s non-apology that the public health “experts” and government officials wanted Americans to believe a virus was” the only entity with any real agency during the pandemic years.”
Covid, he claimed, did not order lockdowns or issue stay-at-home orders. Covid did not require vaccinations and masks. Covid didn’t shut down schools. Government officials did that, and they did, yes, have alternatives and authority to Covid tyranny.
Media also had agency, and they fabricated lies and vilified free-thinking Americans.
The biggest online censorship campaign this country has ever seen was fueled by the press’s public smears and fake fact-checking campaigns about the Covid lab-leak theory. Big Tech would not have advanced much without articles in the corporate media disproving Covid regime critics, such as Tufekci’s assertion that Sen. Rand Paul’s Twitter criticisms were” just plain wrong.”
Tufekci’s most recent article pleading to Americans for understanding about a publication she claims was duped based on the facts but ultimately demonstrates her and the NYT’s guilt.
Even though there was a lot of evidence that masking was ineffective at preventing transmission, Tufekci continued to advocate for security theater and social control measures like masking more than a year after the initial Covid panic.

Tufekci even went so far as to claim in July 2021 that any resistance to mass Covid shots, masking, and lockdown mandates was” American Dysfunction.”
As word about the ineffectiveness and risks of Covid jabs spread, she wrote,” There’s plenty of precedent” for mandating vaccines in health care,  , the military, and  , schools.

Tufekci clung to the adage “science is clear that masks work” in March 2023, almost two years after mass mask mandates began and more than 77 percent of Americans had already contracted the virus.

She made the suggestion in August 2023 that in-person instruction was unsafe for children because “air in classrooms was safer” in the absence of any improvements.
Tufekci has spent a lot of time worrying about what she believes will be the upcoming pandemie and a measles outbreak that are “even scarier than it looks” for the past five years.

There was never a proper reckoning for the pain and panic that defined that dark period in American history, despite real journalists’ and Republican investigators ‘ efforts to find evidence of Covid corruption.
The newsroom elites who have long claimed to be out of touch want to be back in the club with the millions of Americans they have spent years mocking and demonizing for common sense beliefs by pretending to be as ignorant as the common people. The NYT even attempts to use the same revisionist history campaign that it ran about the authenticity of the Hunter Biden laptop in an effort to win Americans ‘ disapproval without ever making an apology.
Corporate media regret not being a part of covering up Covid corruption. They regret being caught in a web of lies that further undermine Americans ‘ confidence in the media.
