
On Monday, the Chinese government flew 59 planes and conducted military exercises close to Taiwan. Chinese officials claimed that the military exercises were carried out as a retribution for the” separatism” promoted by Taiwanese President Lai Ching-te.
The Ministry of National Defense of Taiwan stated in a Monday statement on X, formerly Twitter, that “59 PLA aircraft and 9 PLAN vessels operating around Taiwan were discovered up until 6 a.m. ( UTC+8 ) today. 43 of the 59 missions crossed the median collection and entered Taiwan’s north, northern, western, and southeast ADIZ. During this period, 2 PRC bubbles were discovered.
The Ministry of National Defense of Taiwan confirmed to Reuters that the activities of China’s People’s Liberation Army and People’s Liberation Army Navy on Monday were piece of” combined combat readiness guards” close to Taiwan. The report noted that Taiwan sent naval and air pushes to Taiwan to observe China’s guards and that the Chinese aircraft included J-10 jets and drones.

A representative for China’s Taiwan Affairs Office claimed in a statement obtained by Reuters that if Lai’s government “dares to inspire and play with fire, it will only take about its own destruction.”
Taiwan frequently reports Chinese military exercise comparable to the workouts conducted on Monday, but the Chinese government doesn’t usually make such comment on military activity as it did on Monday, according to Reuters.
The Taiwanese government has continued to threaten Taiwan with its military, according to Taiwan’s Mainland Affairs Council, which reportedly contributed to rising tensions in the Taiwan Strait. The Chinese Communist Party was referred to as a” troublemaker” by Taiwan’s Mainland Affairs Council, and Taiwan’s supporters were urged to stop China’s military development.
Protection officers in Taiwan have recently claimed that China is attempting to restore military exercises close to Taiwan by conducting guards every seven to ten days like those conducted on Monday.
