When the anti-Israel demonstrations started in the late 20th century, Mario Torres and Lester Wilson served as staff at Columbia University’s Hamilton Hall. What they saw is now a part of an EEOC research into the university’s stunning acceptance of sexist practices that had become a norm of hate.

The two staffs ‘ complaint claims that the school retaliated against them because they consistently reported the racist graffiti and other incidents that caused them to feel uneasy at work. The school didn’t do anything about the issue from soon 2023 until the two staffs were assaulted and hurt when they took control of Hamilton Hall next April.
Wilson and Torres were given the task of removing the vulgar painting, which included several symbols, that had been drawn on the building’s walls and floors. A security guard who was taking pictures of the painting claimed that because the painting was “free speech,” it was not “vandalism” and could not be erased, the authorities would never follow up.
According to the security officer, Columbia did little in response to the incident, the issue continues. It did not improve stability inside the structure. Not even to Mr. Torres ‘ information, did Columbia look into who was responsible for the war of Hamilton Hall.

When the invasion took place, Torres and Wilson were working their typical over swings. In response to his grievance, Riotters constantly called him” Jew-lover” and attempted to pay him to leave the scene. Related claims are made in Wilson’s problem.
Mr. Wilson begged the protesters to let him leave the building while he stood in the hall. He recalls saying,” I work around. Permit me leave,” the complaint reads. ” The protesters responded by laughing at and mocking him,” they said. He recalls being told,” You work for the Jews, and you’re a Zionist.”
Torres and professional advocate and animal rights advocate James Carlson, who organized the Hamilton Hall acquisition, even had altercations that night. Although the problem does not specifically mention Carlson, it does appear to go into more details about the incident, with one instance mentioning a “masked guy in a Columbia sweatshirt who began fiercely shoving” Torres.

Wilson, who is black, was discovered removing the symbols that kept appearing inside Hamilton Hall despite being unable to stop them.
According to Torres ‘ complaint,” They were therefore offensive and Columbia’s silence was so unbearable that he eventually started chucking away the chalk that had been left in the rooms so criminals wouldn’t have anything to write with.”
But, his officer reprimanded Mr. Torres for doing so.

When she testified before Congress soon after the Hamilton Hall invasion, Columbia’s then-president Minouche Shafiq appeared to be caught in headlights. An antisemitic mob assaulted two janitors inside Columbia’s historic Hamilton Hall, calling them” Jew-lovers,” after President [Minouche ] Shafik [remembered ] that the university had become “unsafe for everyone ]” and both men’s complaints recalled of the Hamilton Hall takeover in April last year.
” Columbia had really become dangerous for all, including the two staffs who were confined to Hamilton Hall. And for these two gentlemen, Title VII was violated by Columbia for decades, the grievances continued.

Eventually, the officers arrived and ejected the criminals after the staff had been roughed up and terrified by the activists. However, the two staff had to use their bare hands to escape Hamilton Hall.
Torres was constantly struck on his back by another protesters during that fight. He finally discovered a way out that had been blocked by flap relationships and a motorcycle lock after repeatedly navigating to blocked-off escapes. One of the rioters removed the flap relationships and let him out after hearing his appeals.
Wilson had immediately attempted to flee after realizing the protesters were taking control of the city after being separated from Torres during the chaos. According to the problem, rioters frequently shoved and smashed furniture into him while he ran for safety.
He recalls saying,” I work around. Allow me leave,” the complainant alleged. ” The protesters responded by laughing at and mocking him,” they said. He recalls being told,” You work for the Jews, and “You’re a Zionist.” Someone finally broke a door, forcing Mr. Wilson to leave the building.
Columbia’s hatred is so rampant that state authorities should really consider resuming the school’s administration.  ,
