According to Battalion Chief , Glen Williams, the flames that earlier in March damaged a bar has been confirmed as fire.
At , Broadway Nightclub, which is located at , 5671 E Virginia Beach Blvd., responded to a fire around  , 2:40 a.m. on March 5. Near the intersection of N Military Highway and  .
According to a transfer released that day, the first team member arrived and discovered large fireplace coming from the back of the tower.
Williams claimed that the fireplace was an outdoor fire on Monday morning.
No injuries or reports of injuries were reported inside the team at the time.
At 3:20 a.m., the blaze was declared under command.
