President Trump signed an executive order removing the Department of Education on Thursday evening.
” Now, we take a very ancient behavior that was 45 years in the making. I will sign an executive order in a few times to end the federal Department of Education for good,” he said. ” And it sounds odd, doesn’t it, too?” Department of Education, we’re going to remove it. And the Democrats are aware that it is correct, just like everyone else. And I hope they will cast their ballots because it might eventually go to the voters. But everyone knows it’s appropriate, and we have to get our kids educated. We haven’t done well in this country’s training sector in a long time, and we’re not doing well in that area.

Trump next praised Linda McMahon, who he claimed will finally be “our last director of schooling.”
He next pointed out that when President Carter created the national education ministry in 1979,” It was opposed by people of his own case, as well as the American Federation of Teachers, the New York Times editorial table, and the legendary Democrat, Sen. Daniel Patrick Moynihan”.
Trump claimed that “history has proven them best.” ” Totally right.”
The office was truly a gift to teachers ‘ organisations when Carter’s acceptance scores were tanking below 30 %. The department has managed to burn through more than$ 3 trillion in taxpayer dollars over decades of a declining American educational performance.  ,
” After 45 years, the United States spends more money on learning by far than any other state and spends, also, by much, more cash per pupil than any state”, Trump continued. And it’s not even similar. But despite this, we come in close to the bottom of the record for success.
Trump continued with his burning analysis of the U. S. training program, highlighting its problems despite skyrocketing investing. You are at the bottom of the list, he said, and you don’t want the most cash spent per kid. ” And that’s where we are, whether or not we’ve been there for a while,” the statement read.
Trump pointed to alarming data:” Seventy percent of seventh students are not efficient in either checking or in math”. Even more disturbing is the statistic that” Forty percent of fifth graders lack even simple reading abilities and can’t read.” He noted that prior to the creation of the Department of Education, students in public schools today performed worse checking.

Baltimore was cited by the president as an illustration of the state’s failure. He claimed that “forty percent of the high schools have zero individuals who can do even the most simple of calculus.” ” I said, give me your concept of fundamental, and they’re talking about, like, adding a few numbers up”.
Trump praised the district’s rising budget despite these problems. The district’s discretionary funds has increased by 600 % in a very short period of time, he claimed. However, federal education bureaucrats occupy structures across Washington, D. C.” I ride through the roads of Washington and it says Department of Education, Department of Education. How do you replace those structures, I asked. What has happened over the years is ridiculous.
Trump touted his administration’s victory in slashing government. We’ve reduced the number of officials by half. Great that 50 % of them accepted [buyout ] offers. Bless you”. He reassured that numerous other organizations and agencies that will take very good care of them will continue to receive crucial applications like Pell Grants, Title I funding, and tools for children with disabilities.
Trump’s final statement was made evident, however, that “my management may take all necessary steps to shut down the department.” We’re going to shut it down and shut it down as quickly as possible. It is not doing us any fine.

Trump argued that states may return to the classroom. ” Some of the rulers here are so happy about this. They want to return to their schools and to the state, and they will do just that.
Trump also refuted the notion that huge populations make reform difficult, citing numerous international examples. ” You know, if you look, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, I have to show you, I give them a lot of funds. Major ten in China So we didn’t now claim that China’s size makes it impossible to teach because it is so big.
With this strong walk, Trump is setting the stage for a historic change of education in America, shifting power away from provincial officials and back to the states.
