Rep. Abe Hamadeh (R-Ariz. ) recently visited the Guantanamo Bay prison facilities to observe how the Trump administration is turning them into a detention facility for criminals. Although there has been a relatively small legal population thus far, the Trump administration hopes to be able to house up to 30 000 prisoners at Guantanamo Bay.
