A policeman official told AFP on Friday that the Pakistani Taliban carried out at least five police killings and injured six people in episodes throughout Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
The assaults, which came after the group announced a” spring campaign” against security forces in the middle of March, were carried out by the Pakistani Taliban, also known as Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan ( TTP).
The TTP has taken payment for over 80 problems in the rocky Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, which shares a porous borders with Afghanistan, since starting their plan.
Qasim Ali, the police chief in Peshawar, noted a recent spike in attacks against authorities. The martial regularly reports the elimination of “terrorists,” and the region is the site of daily incidents.
Ali documented attacks on police in nine districts in less than two days after TTP’s unpleasant statement, claiming that the army has since intensified its terrorism operations in reaction.
More than 170 people have died in violent attacks on the condition in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the neighboring province of Balochistan, according to AFP’s records, primarily security personnel.
In a high-intensity activity in the west region earlier this month, a coach hijacking incident in Balochistan resulted in the deaths of 33 of the victims and the rescue of over 340 passengers.
